Industrial Water Softeners
How It Works
Feed water passes downward through a bed of high-capacity strong acid cation resin (Tulsion® T-42 Na) in sodium form. Calcium and magnesium ions (hardness scale) in the water are exchanged for sodium ions, producing soft water free from scale-forming properties. Once saturated, the resin is regenerated using a common salt (NaCl) brine solution.
